Aviation Geek Fest 2013
A Two-Day Event!
Saturday and Sunday, February 16 and 17
Aviation Geek Fest (#AGF13) allows people who have a passion for aviation to come together and share that passion. HURRY, when the tickets are gone... they are GONE! Be prompt! You don’t want to get left behind.
Saturday, February 16, 10:00am to 5:00pm
Noon: Meet at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. Check in and get your Boeing badge (check with the information desk to find out the exact location for check-in), then head to Renton and tour Boeing’s 737 plant (transportation provided).
Your ticket also includes full access to tour the Museum of Flight starting at 9:00am. #AGF13 Headquarters will be in the Skyline Room until 3:00pm with coffee and tea. From 5:00-6:30pm, get a VIP after hours tour of the Personal Courage Wing.
Sunday, February 17, 10:00am to 7:00pm
Meet at FoF at your designated group time and carpool over to the, Dreamliner Gallery for an exclusive tour and then go on the Boeing factory floor tour.
The Dreamliner Gallery Tour will be in three groups; those tickets will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis:
3:00pm: Depart FoF for Everett Factory Tour 747, 777, 787 assembly lines (all three groups).
5:00pm: Aviation Geek Fest Social @ the Future of Flight Gallery
Food and drink will be served while you tour the Future of Flight, get to know folks, take photos in the cockpit of a Boeing 727 and more.
If you have the time, consider visiting one of the other aviation-related attractions around Paine Field before your tour time: http://www.painefield.com/vpf.html
Restrictions for both the Renton plant and Everett plant tours include:
- No cameras or backpacks (cell phones and purses are OK)
- No taking of photographs or blogging on the tours (we will take some group photos to share with everyone)
- No one under the age of twelve (12) years old
- No open toed shoes, backless shoes (such as clogs), or high heels
- Cameras, backpacks, photography and blogging are permitted at the Museum of Flight, Future of Flight, and Dreamliner Gallery
